Lessons
Blue herons, kingfishers, rhododendron, mountain laurel and a lush
mountain landscape set the stage for your stand up paddle lesson.
You'll be up and paddling on your very first lesson!
First, you'll learn about safety, the proper selection, sizing, use
and care of the equipment along with correct paddling and turning
techniques. Then, we're off on the water. Depending on water and wind
conditions, we may paddle on a local river, or explore smooth
waters on Lake Blue Ridge or Carters Lake.
Individual Lesson - $60 -
approximately 2 hours
Couples Lesson - $50 each - approximately 2 hours
Family/Group Lessons - $40/person (maximum 4 persons
Kids (8-12 years old) with adult - $20, 7 and under - no charge, can ride
on board with instructor
Includes boards, paddles, pfds and miscellaneous equipment
Equipment Rental for Remainder of Day - $25
